In person, nitwit.Trump is often not at his home in Palm Beach when he votes. He has a reason to vote absentee.Mail-in voting creates many opportunities for people to intercept a ballot or to create false ballots. The mail man is not the proper person to check the identity of a voter. They don't do what you're suggesting. They simply collect the mail. If the Post Office is so good at knowing whether someone is a valid voter, then why are the rules so full of people who aren't legal to vote? How would they prevent multiple votes? It's also great for committing election fraud.YouGov interviewed 1,151 respondents who were then matched down to a sample of 1,000 to produce the final dataset.
Not a large enough sample. That said, no to mail in voting. Felons should be able to vote after the cases are dismissed. Yes to Voter ID as well.
Mail in voting is great for the elderly or people without transportation or people with disabilities or young mothers or people in rural areas.
I don't see how?
Mail in voting means the Post Office can check the voter registration lists and use the address to verify.
This is better ID check than can be done at a polling station.
The Post Office also knows when someone dies, moves, etc.
They can easily prevent multiple votes.
The only problem I could imagine is when relatives open the mail of invalids, elderly, etc., and could then vote for them.
Have you voted by mail? I have for ten years. Trump votes by mail.
The fact that you voted by mail does not prove that it's not a vector for fraud.
How do YOU vote?
I wouldn't be able to vote if not for mail in voting.
