Vote GOP: Revisit Clinton Witch Hunt only this time, Obama

If team Obama was smart, they'd say: "Bring IT on!"

While Team Obama is obviously not very smart, they are smart enough to know they don't want to be investigated.

Its an incredible waste of time and taxpayer money when the economy is in the tubes, soldiers are at risk, and the US position as a superpower are all on the line.

Unless the GOP has something rock solid to start with and comes up with something rock solid to indict with, they'll get cruicified in 2012 if they decide to go the witch hunt route. People want help and relief now. An investigation won't satisfy them.
Justice is priceless.

Justice is priceless.

The process of obtaining Justice does have a cost. If the GOP is seen as going after Obama out of spite without any evidence of wrong doing, then they'll pay at the polls.

Right now the stuff you see people say about Obama is the same stuff people said about Bush. It boils down to this: Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its illegal.

A hunt just to try to find politically embarrassing things will be costly to the GOP. If the GOP is serious about this, they need to go in with clearly defined goals of actually broken laws they intend to investigate. A fishing trip won't do it.

The GOP does not want Obama to govern. They would rather America go down the shit tubes before they allow a Democrat to do something and get credit for it.

There's a significance difference between governing and dividing. Obama is the most divisive figure in American politics I've seen todate. GW Bush was hated by many, but he maintained personal composure and stayed out of the shitstorm surrounding him. Obama seems to like being in the center of it, stirring the pot.

huh?

The right has made Obama divisive by engaging in cultural wars.

Obama as a leader in government has been pretty good. I didn't vote for his change or his new outlook lacking experience, but I was raised to give credit where credit is due.

btw, Where were you raised?

Not quite. The left and the right have always been divided, primarily on the issues of abortion for the right, and social spending for the left. The division is becoming deeper because of mass communications that we have access to nowadays and because of the economic decline we have been facing. The middle class pretty much identifies with both sides, depending on whether or not abortion or social programs are more important to them, the poor identify primarily with the left, and the wealthy class is somewhat divided along ideological lines.

Since we have only two major parties in our political arena, deep division is to be expected, and the pendulum swings back and forth, depending on the most urgent problem we are feeling the effects of at any given point in time. With a growing dependent class, this has become exacerbated, because so many are dependent on government just to feed themselves, and fewer people are picking up the tab. If we didn't have such massive social programs, we would not be nearly as divided as we are now, because we would be voting on issues that generally affect us all equally (war stance, border issues, and economic issues).

As long as we continue our present policies on the whole, the division will continue to grow until the point is reached that we can no longer sustain our government indebtedness and it must, by necessity, fail.

What credit are you giving, which you perceive as due?

Because it's illegal means it's illegal.

Obama is a narcissist. He takes criticism waaaaay too personally.

Nah. People in our society LOVE trash and dirt. It's obvious when you see which programming on prime time TV succeeds. We've collectively become pretty shallow and cheap to entertain.
