If you took that remedial reading course many have recommended, you would know the difference between migrants and immigrants.

Immigrants are people who go through legal channels and apply for admission to the United States for the purpose of becoming American citizens. Those who embrace the American ideal and principles and become Americans and all that means are indeed almost always an asset.

Migrants who come here by the millions, do not go through the immigration process, do not obey our laws, do not have any intention of pledging allegiance to our flag but are more than willing to receive whatever goodies they can get plus free healthcare, free education for their kids, subsidized or free housing, food, clothing, etc. etc. etc. are not an asset to America. They all drain our resources, among them are some very bad actors, and there is no benefit to America or Americans other than a giant headache, more crime, more poverty, more homeless, and a weakened America less able to help those who deserve help from us.
