We've all read Marx. And then we laughed at the stupidity of it. So while you live the fat-cat life provided to you by capitalism while pontificating about the wonders of marxist communism, the people who lived in reality are confirming to the world what an idiotic idealist you are.I said read Marx and get back to me.
And this is what the leftists and so-called *environmentalists* want for the US.
"Venezuela cannot wake up from its socialist nightmare....
"This was wholly preventable. And I blame socialism.
"Venezuela's previous president, Hugo Chavez, set the stage for the country's destruction by spending Venezuela's oil money on social programs designed to boost his popularity even as he set about wrecking the country's assets, expropriating most valuable private companies, sometimes to turn them into bureaucracies and sometimes to give them to friends, implementing price and retail controls that ensured people wouldn't have access to basic necessities and capital controls that caused inflation to rise, shutting down alternative voices in the media, Putin- and Erdogan-style, and winking at top-to-bottom corruption."
Sound familiar?

Venezuela is being destroyed by low oil prices, just like Russia.
Why do idiot conservatives use Venezuela or Greece as examples of socialist economies? Oh right, they're a mess, for different reasons, but a mess. They're the only 2 socialist countries which are a mess, unless you include the US, which was pulled back from the edge by Obama, but is headed there again under Teumo
All of the EU, North America and South America are socialist democracies. Most are far more successful than the US.

Bwahahaha!Venezuela is being destroyed by low oil prices, just like Russia.
The problem with true socialism and communism is that it is only effective in small societies, whereas on a national scale, it stifles competition and productivity. Those that might otherwise be inclined to produce inventions that could move their society forward, see no significant reward for themselves and thus just drift along with the herd mentality, whereas, in capitalism, they can see the benefit to themselves by moving forward on inventions. And this is what the leftists and so-called *environmentalists* want for the US.

Yeah, yeah.....I'm just an idealist. And very naive at that. Surely the day will come when I can appreciate all the blessings bestowed upon me by the capitalist mode of production, and see that they originate from the netherworld by a higher power! We've all read Marx. I doubt it. Immature idealists never "appreciate" reality until they experience the "wonders" that is marxism first-hand.Yeah, yeah.....I'm just an idealist. And very naive at that. All of the EU, North America and South America are socialist democracies. Most are far more successful than the US. But you never use more successful countries like Canada, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland or the Netherlands in these comparisons.
Blaming all of socialism for what is going on in Venezuela isn't telling the truth. It would be like me blaming all of capitalism for the pollution in China or India or for slavery in the new world in the 15th and 16th century and stating that we should abolish the whole damn thing.
