What are your thoughts?

Comparing a book just randomly being created on it's own to DNA just being randomly being created on its own?

Too long....Didn't watch

I wish there were an abbreviated version. I tried to sum it up... but it's worth the watch if you want to answer the question or care enough... which you don't... which is okay :)

okay so I tried to summarize it, but here is another quick summary:

"The Atheist Delusion" is your standard Ray Comfort street interviews. This time his argument is one we've heard before, about creation needing a creator. Because a book couldn't make itself, DNA couldn't make itself, therefore, God, and specifically, the god of the Bible, did it. Atheists, we are told (and this we've also heard before) know that there is a god but deny it because they like fornication and pornography. (that last sentence is hilarious!)

These folks he meets on the street may not be very well educated or savvy in debate and discussion. Of course, they are not going to put on film the ones that are.

It's a point worth considering, but by no means proof.

Is this man made or natural

Oh ghee a book and human both need ID...Yet that fellow creating it had to have a creation also, yet no answer can be given about the head man..

Only watched 1/2 but it appears to be a standard anti-evolution straw man: our DNA is the result of random chance. Evolution is not random, it is directed, not by some intelligent designer, but by nature, in this case natural selection.

that's seems to be the consensus in the reviews on the "film"/"documentary".....
I think before they film something like this, they should state the age and education level of those they interview.

I used to think these Ray Comfort interviews were pretty compelling and clever, but, after a while it gets old.

I see more meaningful discussion HERE than I do in any of his sidewalk "interviews".

I also think that they should reveal how many people outsmart him. We never get to see that.

Books evolve also

A popular book from 100 years ago may not be popular today. Books go through a process called "Natural Selection" The public buys books that they find compelling. Authors who are unable to provide a compelling read, die out and are replaced by better, more topical authors

Without a Creator, one must believe that lifeless chemicals just magically arranged themselves in order for life to appear. This is impossible, for several reasons. Chirality, for one. DNA is composed of millions of amino acids. Amino acids can be left handed or right handed. DNA contains amino acids that all have the same handedness. The odds of this happening are simply mind boggling. That's just for getting all of the correct amino acids. Now you are faced with the odds of getting those millions of amino acids in the correct order. Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups.

Well stated and very true. Logic clearly dictates there must be a creator, but we all know man’s arrogance sometimes prevents logic from being accepted.

Logic doesnt actually dictate anything. Premises do. And there is where you will find yoir argument fails badly, as you will be making silly assumptions you cannot support.

"Logic doesnt actually dictate anything."

Now that is a mouthful...uttered by a dunce.

You're a sensitive little guy, aren't you? Now, if you had the weight of evidence and sound argument behind your magical declarations, you wouldn't have to internalize those beliefs and take personal offense when they are scrutinized. But, since all you will ever have is "because I say so", you dont have much choice.
