US Military Pilots Complain Hands Tied in Frustrating Fight Against ISIS

Well, to be "fair".....there's a portion of the O/Poster's article that states a rebuttal from the Air Force command.....Did anyone bother to cite THAT part?
.....and, you do realize that you're not just bashing Obama (as expected) but ALSO the Pentagon?

There was one person who claimed that all of the other people were being less than honest. Looks like the majority of those who chimed in were in agreement that the Obama administration is throwing a wrench in the works. Obama should leave it to the military leaders instead of micromanaging things. He is the problem in this case.

you can see that many oppose the way that mrobama is handling this war , just watch the news and listen to what all the talking heads have to say . Its pretty interesting , think that even 'feinstein' and other dems are getting nervous .

I don't mind targeted bombing of areas to rid it of enemies , also understand that their will be casualties like in Germany and Japan . Saw them in ww2 in both theatres . No dilemma for me Nat !!

Having "no dilemma" actually puts you in the psychopathic corner......perhaps a necessary condition for many in an all out war....but a horrible condition to have in a peaceful societal setting.

There was one person who claimed that all of the other people were being less than honest.

Likewise, I believe, there was also "one person" who placed the blame on Obama and not on the military bureaucracy.

Again I ask openly......have the guts to state the WHY do you think that Obama is siding with the enemy....after all, we all know why FOX comes out with their "assessment" in the original article...but what is yours???

now you are a psychiatrist ehh , he11 , bombing worked in ww2 in both theatres and would work again . Better than whats being practiced today in this war against the 'islamic' state . Course we also need soldiers [boots] on the ground and that's coming eventually Nat !!

We, the ISIS strategy of "rope-a-dope" may be working in drawing morons into yet another war....the last one cost 4000 plus US lives and $1.7 TRILLION and gave us the present situation........Exactly which government/country have we declared war on?

you wanna see war numbers , check out those killed in ww2 for comparison to your number of 4000 . You want to see war numbers , watch what iran does when mrobama gives them nukes Nat .

Had you ever thought if they had been paying attention and hit them hard in the beginning, they would not be as big a problem today?

It's Obama's attitude. It's about what he says, does, doesn't say and doesn't do.

He was quick to bring up the crusades, as if anyone alive today had anything to do with Christians years ago defending themselves against radical Muslims. He is careful to separate Muslims from radicals and claims they have nothing to do with Islam. Would be nice if he could separate today's Christians from the crusaders he seems to hate so much.

We are involved in the fight against ISIS and we could have done so much more. There is no good explanation as to why we haven't.

The left, in general, is quick to defend Muslims, yet refuse to separate the majority of gun owners from the few lunatics. They claim that Christians are a problem and fail to separate them from the fringe.

Obama is the leader and it falls on him to be fair to all. He should speak to all Americans and not just bash one half to the other half. We should expect more from leaders.

Just for clarity (and educational) sake........Here's a quote from the Christian Science Monitor a few days AFTER 9-11 by GWB:

..........Bush warned Americans that "this crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take awhile."........President Bush's reference to a "crusade" against terrorism, which passed almost unnoticed by Americans, rang alarm bells in Europe. It raised fears that the terrorist attacks could spark a 'clash of civilizations' between Christians and Muslims, sowing fresh winds of hatred and mistrust.

so what , who cares Nat , now we Americans shouldn't use the words Crusade ehh ??

probably get court martial and hung if they step forward Carbineer . I prefer them in the background providing further info and maybe writing their books for when they retire . I mean , anyone with an ounce of perception knows whats going on !!

I think that is splitting hairs. He wasn't talking about the crusades, or anything like that, that happened centuries ago. While Dems often get away with some statements by claiming they misspoke, I think we should give Bush the benefit of the doubt on this one.

It has been made clear all along that the fight is against terrorists. If someone is upset about that, it says way more about them. Those who refuse to speak against terrorism are a big part of the problem.
