The Holocaust was an aside of WW2.

Persecution and demonising of Jews in Germany was going on before the start of hostilities. Before they got to the Poles.

I believe what I want to using sense. It is not that things did not exist, it is the value of that existence in times that denied those things. Its like when I watch the two current female astronauts on the space station. They exist. And are much better then I am. They would have aborted or crashed the Apollo 11 lunar module.
