Universal Healthcare - will not work in the US

I actually don't mind the idea of tax dollars going to provide healthcare assistance to citizens who can't afford it, when they need it. But lefties have a pretty broad interpretation of the words citizen (illegal aliens) and healthcare (transgender surgery).
We allege to subscribe to capitalism. It seems more rational as an economic choice to solve simple poverty and let participant increase their participation in the markets of their choice.

In an interview with Jean Daniel in October 1963, then President Kennedy said: “I believe that there is no country in the world, including the African regions, including any and all the countries under colonial domination, where economic colonisation, humiliation and exploitation were worse than in Cuba, in part owing to my country’s policies during the Batista regime."

President Kennedy also said on "October 24, 1963 Kennedy said, “I approved the proclamation Fidel Castro made in the Sierra Maestra, when he justifiably called for justice and especially yearned to rid Cuba of corruption."

JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters - PaulCraigRoberts.org

Who would not agree that a country should have justice and an absence of corruption? Where did President Kennedy say that Communism would be great for Cuba?

Just like with Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and others of their ilk, Fidel Castro did not come to power promising Communism and that he would turn Cuba into a cesspool. You folks LIE!

No, he [Jeff Bezos] didn't steal it from you. He did steal it from the people working in his warehouses for minimum wage, the truck drivers recklessly driving to make sure they hit their quotas, and so on...

The typical Amazon Amazon Warehouse Worker makes $14 per hour. Amazon Warehouse Worker hourly pay at Amazon can range from $11 - $20.

As for your comment about Amazon truck drivers, that's just stupid.

Warren and Sanders both lead Trump in most polls.

I don't particularly want socialism or communism. I mean, it would be worth it if the money-grubbers got theirs, but an ideal situation would be to go back to what we had before Reagan fucked it all up.

No one has suggested that she should have the same housing or cars, but health care, good food and a good education should be rights in a democratic society. They are in every other first world country in the world except the USA.

All of my health care expenses have been covered by my universal health care since I was a child. I am now 70 years old and in very good shape for someone my age. I'm waiting for a new knee which is annoying but doable. That new knee will cost me nothing out of pocket. Americans, on the other hand:

As you know, but cannot admit to yourself, is the fact that you pay more for your healthcare than the typical household here in the US.

But we've been over this.

Affordability- Most UH Nations spend 8-11% of their GDP while we spend 18% of GDP.
Quality - UH Nations beat us on almost every metric. They live longer, have lower infant mortality rates, and are generally healthier.
Universality - Well, they cover everyone.

Malarkey!

There was no such headline. This is photoshopped.

Who's lying now?

Hillary Clinton cleared of mishandling classified information after 3-year email probe, Trump silent

Investigation of Clinton emails ends, finding no 'deliberate mishandling'

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blog...-hillary-clinton-has-good-reason-to-complain/

Everything the left has been saying about Hillary's emails being a total witch hunt is being borne out by the Trump Administration's multiple investigations of Comey, Clinton and her emails. Three investigations carried out by Donald Trump completely exonerate Hillary Clinton.

Um... yeah.. that's kind of retarded. First, any UHC will not pay for luxury items like boob jobs or botox injections... so your comparison falls flat. A doctor would have to sign off that the treatment is required....

Why are breast augmentations, botox injections, Lasik surgery and so many other medical procedures so affordable and, in most cases, cost less today than 30 years ago?

The subject was the Washington Post which you claimed to be unbiased. A joke, of course.

If you wish to discuss the criminal wrongdoings of the Clinton's, please start such a thread.

Yes, we have. And because it is a losing point for you, you continue to intentionally ignore the FACTS.

THANK YOU again for posting this "misleading" information. You provide me the opportunity of, as Paul Harvey was famous for saying, THE REST OF THE STORY! :D

Once again for the loser among us. Since you continue to repeat the same unfounded lies, I have copied and pasted my same proof that you are..."misleading" in your statements.

Life Expectancy comparison

A major reason our country has a lower life expectancy than the countries you enumerated is because they are: "homogeneous nations". Those are nations made up of nearly 100% one race. Different races and nationalities have different life expectancies regardless of the health care they do or do not receive.

If you claim that this is racist, it simply proves your own racism and pigheaded refusal to face facts in order to reach solutions. Your choice.

The life expectancy in Norway at birth is 81.8 years. Until Muslim refugees started moving into the country, they are nearly 100% white Norwegians.

In Minnesota, a very large percentage of their population are Scandinavians. They also eat many of the foods from the Old Country. Their life expectancy is 81.05.

There are other reasons as well. We have far more vehicular fatalities than other countries.

Then there is your persistent, misconception about Infant Mortality Rate.

"The main factors affecting early infant survival are birth weight and prematurity. The way that these factors are reported — and how such babies are treated statistically — tells a different story than what the numbers reveal. Low birth weight infants are not counted against the “live birth” statistics for many countries reporting low infant mortality rates.

According to the way statistics are calculated in Canada, Germany, and Austria, a premature baby weighing less than 500 kg [sic; typo--read 500g] is not considered a living child.

But in the U.S., such very low birth weight babies are considered live births. The mortality rate of such babies — considered “unsalvageable” outside of the U.S. and therefore never alive — is extraordinarily high; up to 869 per 1,000 in the first month of life alone. This skews U.S. infant mortality statistics.Norway boasts one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world. But when the main determinant of mortality — weight at birth — is factored in, Norway has no better survival rates than the United States....

In the United States, all infants who show signs of life at birth (take a breath, move voluntarily, have a heartbeat) are considered alive.

If a child in Hong Kong or Japan is born alive but dies within the first 24 hours of birth, he or she is reported as a “miscarriage” and does not affect the country’s reported infant mortality rates....

Efforts to salvage these tiny babies reflect this classification. Since 2000, 42 of the world’s 52 surviving babies weighing less than 400g (0.9 lbs.) were born in the United States."

Oh, right, this is where you remind us you are a racist POS by blaming poor minorities for their own situation...

Until Muslim refugees

See,,,

It's really simple... If you don't have easy access to health care, it's more likely you will die of a treatable disease.

This isn't fucking complicated.

2) What you fail to understand and I have explained this to you numerous times is that IDC what country it is. If they are sending illegals here it creates a problem. We don’t send illegals into Canada and they don’t send illegals here. Your conflation is false because you’re an idiot.

Naw, guy, besides you making Dr. Goebbels really proud, your point is idiotic. Illegals are a net benefit to our economy.

3) I do have access. Insurance is not difficult to attain so long as you’re working. I care about me and my family. IDGAF about hypocrites like you.

Your argument would work if we lived in a country of selfish bastards...

Um. We don't. I have health insurance. I think everyone should, just as a matter of common fucking decency, but I keep forgetting you don't understand that concept...

So what?

How much have Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos taken out of your pocket? They acquired BILLIONS at the same time you and I did not, so how much have then taken from you? Had they not acquired BILLIONS, how much more would be in your bank account today?

Probably quite a lot if the wealth were fairly distributed...

You see, funny thing. My Dad's Generation- people belonged to unions and rich people paid a 93% top marginal rate.. which kept them from getting TOO greedy. We had the greatest prosperity in history then.

Do you accept the fact that there is a minority of people, fewer than 20% of our society, who make bad decisions? Do you believe in rewarding bad behavior?
