Ultimately, why did Obama win?

it seems Obama manged to win because he ran the most negative campaign in history, outspending Romney and portraying him as a guy that doesn't care.

The Dems had a better ground game. The Romney people admitted it themselves.

Mitty did that himself with his 47% speach

Which was taken out of context, and edited to make Romney look bad.

Are you insane?

that is a flat out lie and your a dupe if you really believe that

The guy that originally uploaded the video admits there is about 3 minutes missing. He claims that the recorder failed, and that it had to be readjusted, yet the video shows the camera, miraculously, was not moved.

I guess Obama had better propaganda than Romeny. But what numbers are leading you to think Obama outspent Romney? And Romney portrayed himself as not caring for over 50% of Americans, so those Americans rejected him. LMAO!!

The ones published by the NY Times, what numbers are leading you to question my assertions?

We need to outlaw welfare for the abled bodied after a few months. We're screwed if we don't!

Well yeah, cuz, for example, most food stamp recipients are the elderly and children. After the age of 4 and until the age of 80, they should be out there working.

Its time for rw's to quit with the fux "free stuff" bull shit. There's no such thing as an "ObamaPhone". Get that through your head.

If you want to cut back on "free stuff", stop the SOCIALIST free health care scam the REPUBLICANS put in place and now defend. Instead, pay for your own friggin health care insurance.

Obama didn't win because we want change, he won because we're scared sh*tless of it....

~S~

A lot of it was demographics. People like Obamacare, the unemployment numbers started going down, Chris Christie vouched for him, voters saw him in action with hurricane Sandy, the debates, they don't like Romney or the Teaparty.. A lot of factors.

Obama won this time and last because Ds generally do not vote anything but D and because the last two GOP nominees have pretty much sucked.

Being elected does not equal being a good leader.

The negativity on our side far outweighed that of the Dems. The hatred on our side, led by the likes of Matthew and you and skooks and steph and the other wing nuts, is an important reason why we lost.

The GOP turns its back on you, s0n, and will reach out to women and minorities and gays that are helpful to our political side.

You don't want to do it the right way, well, the door is over there. On the far right of the hall.

Ultimately, why did Obama win?

Because he is black, and he gave out free shit to blacks and Hispanics, including one way entry into this country, he sold out your grandchildren's economic future for a vote.......:clap2:

Ultimately, why did Obama win?

Many believe it was because he was the worst president in history...Or maybe it was because he was a Marxist born in Africa. Who really knows?

It doesn't matter who or what Romney is or was. The GOP has lost touch with the US voter. They have stuck to their ideologies while the rest of the country has moved on.

And yet, there is one more important reason. The demographics have changed to the point that even states like Nevada and New Mexico are Blue. How long will it be before Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma are added to the Blue?

The arrogant right wing has run it's course, it disenfranchised the voters long before the campaign and carried forward with that attitude throughout. Romney is a main part of what is wrong with the party.

1.He disenfranchised 47% of the electorate on one video.
2.He disenfranchised teachers, police, & firemen on another video.
3.He disenfranchised the blacks, Asians, Mexicans, women
4.He told us we were going to war with Iran with or without congressional approval
5.He told the city of Detroit to go bankrupt on another video.
6.He disenfranchised the Unions & nurses of America.

Then he picked Ryan who disenfranchised everybody that was left from seniors to toddlers.

Whats left? The top 10% Corporation-people get 1 vote. Fetuses don't get to vote.

And they are backed up by the radical Party of No.
1.Who don't care if workers have jobs.
2.That oppose abortions
3.That oppose budgets

and then you have a nation that still blames Bush 51% of the economy.

Judging by the numbers of repubs who stayed home, I think it's safe to say that Romney and the neocon RNC ran off the Santorum and Paul voters.

I know you guys have to say this to justify your political beliefs but it just isn't true.

Look at the final numbers. We lost because our brand is outdated. Women and Latinos flocked to the dems. Had we had just a bit more of the share of their votes we would have won.

I voted for Rick in the primaries and I followed through with a Romney vote in the general. Your analogy is flawed.

More or less you're an idiot. You're party will continue to shrink as you push conservative small Government minded people away, harassing us because we don’t hold our noises and support Progressive like Mitt, Santorum, Newt and so on.. Because we can’t support fucking idiots like Herman Cain and !wtf! Rick Perry . People like you have caused millions of would be Republican voters to hate your party, not dislike, but hate what you reperesent...

Why would I want to be in a party where when in power they grow Government faster than Dems do?

Why would I want to be in a party where the constitution is only brought up when it happens to agree with the case that (#)wtf-ever Republican chi-bag wants to make that day?

Why would I want to be in a party that grew the deficit at incredible, historic rates?

Why would I want to be in a party that pushes religion harder than any other "issue" on the table.

Why would I want to be in a party that HATES gays then claims they don’t “divide people into groups……..”

Why would I want to be in a party that divides the country relentlessly if they feel it can help win an election?

So far it's only been hours past the election, but Republicans on these boards and elsewhere are doomed to repeat McCain/Mitt all over again. You are a liberal lite after voting for Mitt. Something like 15 million less people voted this election, think if you are capable of what that means... Voter turnout should grow due to population growth, yet it shrunk... People hated Obama, but they hated the Republican party more. You ran the "anyone but Obama" and you got what you deserve.

So please, tell me how irrelevant I am. I like it, my party is the fastest growing in the nation, your party the fastest shrinking party in the nation.

You wana win us back, maybe you shouldn't give a standing ovation to so wife cheating, moon developing, deficit rasing, Government growing fat fuck because he "attacks the liberal media."

You thought it was wonderfull making fun of Ron paul's eyebrows, well have fun with fucking Obama for 4 more years after you helped get him elected by voting for a guy that couldn't win, Mitt Romney.

The problem with the Republican party is fucking people like you dumbass... You pretend to be conservative but then elect Progressives and wonder why less people turn out to vote...

Obama won because a razor thin majority in this nation no longer has any interest in self-reliance or liberty. The left won the culture war in the 60's, now we have a dependance generation that embraces eternal childhood under the the guiding fist of the nanny state.

The grand experiment in liberty is over. We will retain fewer and fewer civil rights over the next few decades, then they will vanish entirely. At some point, people will again yearn for liberty. They may or may not find that there once was a nation conceived in and based on liberty, already we have altered history to what the left wants it to be. Whether the actual history of the nation survives or not is very doubtful. But if archives survive that future generations can unearth, perhaps the America that used to be can be a guide to what liberty is.

We are done, we now join the failed states of Europe into decline and subservience.

Watch videos of Ron Paul rallies.

Women and Latinos are much more represented than at some fucking establishment republican rally.

The Paul movement contained every demographic the GOP loses.

Welcome the libertarians or lose every election. Its your choice.

Nah, Paulie, you are the overwhelming minority never the mainstream, and the door is over there.

Play it by reaching out to and following Boehner, etc, and you can be part of the solution.

Take Johnson's 1.1 mil, and the rest of the Paul supporters like me that said fuck it and didn't waste their gas, and you could have bridged the gap and had a shot.

You fucking morons WANNA lose.
