NATO has been supplying mercenaries for Ukraine for a long time .
They simply get NATO troops to write new cotracts to private entities / organisations and then they are flown to the front line , or, Poland , Romania and UK for training .

Apart from mercenaries being brought in by the plane load from the ME and Africa -- so savvy Africans might wish to avoid this and sensibly " get lost" ASAP .
