Ukraine in NATO?!

Seems like “every few years“ is still better than “all the time”. In communism the government bails out some communism jerk all the time.
No one has to be bailed out to the tune of trillions of dollars in socialism, that's the advantage of establishing a socialist economy. There are no bailouts because the public owns the means of production. Shortly, thanks to advanced automation and artificial intelligence, socialism (a non-profit, marketless, centrally planned, and democratic system of production), will be required. The US will be forced by necessity to adopt socialism in the next few decades, due to technology. It's called progress.

The entirety of society relies on government subsidies. That’s the whole point of communism. The government controls it all.

Oh wait a minute. You just downgraded to “socialist”?

In socialism the workers, (i.e. those who produce and own everything collectively), don't need subsidies from anyone. They're the worker-owners of all of the nation's resources and employ the government to centrally plan production and the distribution of goods and services, meeting everyone's needs.

In capitalism, only a few people own the means of production and they exploit the vast majority of people, reducing them to the means of production or the machinery of production. People are commodified, and turned into products in a "labor market". There aren't any slaves in socialism, because everyone owns everything collectively and the government is under the authority of democratically-run worker-councils.

Oh, you mean socialism like Venezuela.

By “exploit” you mean “pay” the going rate for labor as you liberals welcome in millions of unskilled laborers. If you see it as exploitation, why are you supporting an open boarder to bring them here to be exploited?

Venezuela and Cuba are under brutal economic sanctions by the US, the country that owns the world's reserve currency and controls all of the banks. I doubt citing Venezuela or Cuba is going to help your case for capitalism. A better example of modern socialism, is Western Europe.

Whenever the Democrats express that they're for universal healthcare or tuition-free college or anything that is considered commonplace in Western Europe, as far as government policy and civil rights, right-wing Republicans start shouting "Commies! Commies! Commies!". OK, so essentially Western Europe is "Commie", so why are you citing Venezuela? Western European economies are mixed and that's what socialism can be until technology requires more socialism. Eventually, due to advanced automation and artificial intelligence, every nation in the industrialized world will need to become "full-commie". Advanced technology = Socialism. You can't avoid it.
