Uh oh! Democrats getting hammered by religious voters

With the low Republican primary voter turnouts it seems that perhaps Obama might win.
Or will the right bond together in fellowship and claim to have the best candidate ever? Whomever that may be.

What ever happened to the Tea Party anyway?

Republicans count on low voter turn out for midterms. Then they suggest they have a mandate.

This should teach Democratic voters that its important to show up every two years.

And Republicans are hoping that people who voted for Obama will either vote for Romney or not show up. Not a chance in hell.

Mitt will do no better than McCain. He may win a couple more states because the GOP have redrawn voting districts and they will no doubt steal a state or two like they did in 2000 and 2004, but I don't think it will be enough.

Something really bad will have to happen between now and then, and so far looks like the economy is getting better, not worst. Makes all their doomsday talk about socialism seem like bs, huh?

And don't forget when the economy was falling apart on the middle class but the corporations were doing fine, in 2005 and 2006, the GOP said things were fine. They liked it that the middle classes wages were going down and we were bleeding jobs. Hell, they passed tax breaks for companies going overseas.

Now they want to say they know best?

The tea party imploded when the Wallstreeters came into existance. It exposed them for a Koch Brother fraud they were. Their agenda is the Billionaires agenda.

Everybody keeps acting like the election is over and the Tea Party disbanded.

Problem is, only a few primaries have taken place.

Further the Occupy movement is funded by George Soros and you talk about the Koch Brothers? What a hypocrite!

Well, Romney carried the Catholic vote 2-1 in Nevada.... which, given Obama's current fight with us... does not bode well for your Messiah in the GE.
Nonsense.

No Catholics are paying attention to any ‘fight,’ most aren’t even paying attention to the primaries overall, like the rest of the voters – it will be forgotten well before November.

Catholics who voted for Obama in 2008 will vote for him again, or stay home. But they won’t be voting for Romney.

I love how liberals think they speak for groups.

Now you speak for the Catholics.

Well, the TEA party never really had a candidate. We are talking about a movement that is only 2 years old.

I think like everyone else, they are acquiesing to teh Weird Mormon Robot, but they are probably also slowly expecting that Obama will get a second term.

If a republican wins this time we will see the basic dissoloution of the Tea Party.
The Obama hate club will no longer have a reason to exist.

Works on the assumption that the TEA movement was only about hating Obama. I don't think it was.

I think it shows a contempt for both Parties and their establishments.

Bingo!

You win the cigar.

US Citizen is making the same predication about the Tea Party they make about Rush Limbaugh every time a Republican wins.

Wrong about Limbaugh, Wrong about the Tea Party, Wrong about everything!

54% of registered Catholic voters supported Obama in '08. Don't bet on them supporting him to the same extent this time around... They absolutely will vote - we're told by our Church that it is our duty to vote.... and, all across the country, letters from Bishops are being read to their congregations - telling them about the Democrats 'war on Catholics'.

YAY!

UMMmmm... right now it is the Morman republican that is conducting a "war" on the republican Catholic.

Just sayin...

You mean the thrice married Newt? Hmmmm, yea.... no so great a 'Catholic'.

Romney, on the other hand, has spoken out in support of the Catholic Church with Obama trampling on our First Amendment Rights.

Overall, a fail. But thanks for trying.

Aside from republicans. obama has alienated the Jews, the Catholics, the Evangelicals, Mormons, absolutely. He already wrote off white blue collar voters. He's disappointed some on the hard core left. Any edge that obama has is so thin, it can be derailed by any breeze from any one of a number of directions. The economy takes another hit, Iran closes the strait of Hormuz, or even attacks us directly from Venezuela. Egypt tries the Americans they are holding and executes them. Dozens of things can help or hurt.

Then too, there isn't a partisan campaign going on. Romney destroyed Gingrich with vicious attack ads that worked. They would work just as well against obama as they did against Gingrich. The campaign hasn't started yet.
