Turner Classic Movies War Movie Marathon All This Weekend!

All this weekend TCM will be running a war movie marathon. I was watching last night and it was all submarine themed movies and looks like right now (0930 Saturday morning) they're showing Army themed movies.

Abbott and Costello in "Buck Privates" is on later. And "30 Seconds Over Tokyo" is on tonight! (I happen to have a first edition of that book)

I get TCM -already have most of the movies on tape.

One thing that really jumps out is how invested the US homeland was in WW2 compared to later conflicts.
