Makes sense to me. They have no way of cooking so it is probably a temporary measure to help them.

 

Saw a sign on my grocery store's entrance door that they are also accepting food stamps for prepared foods for the next 30 days, so it apparently applies across the country as well, not just PR, probably.

 

A wavier is not law, it is the setting aside of a law on a temporary basis. It is the humane thing to do for a time. Beats letting victims starve to death.

 

You conservatives bitched endlessly every time that Obama signed an EO to get something done.

Now? You praise Trump everytime he signs an EO.

Which is it conservatives, do you hate EO's or not? You've been bitching that EO's are a "dictator's" way of getting around Congress, so since Trump has done so many of them, does that make Trump a dictator as well?

No i wouldn't. This is a big issue with me. The constitution says "all legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a congress of the united states." That means presidents, courts, and bureaucrats cannot write laws and yet they do it all the time.
