The only way Pence could be as bad or worse than trump is if the repubs in the senate bent over for him the way they have for trump. I don't think they will. The only way Pence becomes president is if some senators grow a set and stand up to Trump. I don't think they will be so willing to give those balls up as quickly as they did for trump. At that point, they will be trying to show their independence, and disassociate themselves from anything resembling the control Trump has over them now.
