An interesting trend I have seen from Trump supporters lately is their admission that he lies a lot. After a year in office even his most die-hard supporters find it almost impossible not to acknowledge. Just a few minutes ago I watched Greg Gutfeld on The Five defend his lying by saying, "This is the president we have now. He lies."

They admit he lied, but find it endearing. It's like they think he is only lying to liberals, and they like that.

What is the more negative coverage you admit about Hillary?

She misjudged how much Comey's crap, Russia's hacking, and crazies believing Trump's lies would effect the election. If she had, she would have concentrated more on Wisconsin.

IOW, she was the worse candidate.

I haven't really seen Trump treat the American public like that. I think the media is wasting its time looking up old porn stars and having a cow because trump likes diet coke and ice cream. Trump is a flawed person, no doubt, but at least he isn't treating the people like garbage.

Perhaps if the media had not spent the last year trying to portray Trump as Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot all rolled into one Trump supporters might take them more serious. When you have media coverage of a President that is as overwhelmingly negative as Trumps has been even allowing for the fact Trump causes some it through his tweets his supporters won't take you serious and as long as the media continues down this path an increasing number of moderates and indendents will also stop taking them serious. If the media wants anyone other than the blind partisans to take them serious they will have to give them a reason to do so and so far they don't seem inclined to do that.

Hey, no one says you have to like the guy. But how can you not like what he's doing for the country?
I don't like Trump because he's a republican, I like Trump because I have confidence he will try to do what he said.
I wish I could say that about a democrat--- ---assuming what a democrat promises was anything any reasonable thinking person wanted.
But I don't carry water for Donald, everyone has their flaws:

• He sells a product that he is proud of--- himself, and he vests a great deal of self-image in that product and tends to "round up" on his figures, but I believe that is how he sees things. He is a well-deserved OPTIMIST. But the product is DELIVERING, in a big way.
• He is not a skilled public speaker. He needs training in being a better public orator. I hate it when he just reads.
• He is too invested in getting the last word in, name-calling and other things less admirable than our picture of a leader usually is, but the guy cut his teeth on the street. That is who he is.
  
• The man has a past as a womanizing power-broker, but then, most anyone but a priest would do the same things if they had his money and influence.

None of these things matter much in how he runs the country; he seems to have a good heart. Since an early age, he was known to relate closely with his blue-collar employees. He was one of the first to promote women to roles of power long before it was fashionable. He genuinely LOVES America, is an American success story that became rich on his own efforts and not off the taxpayer, promotes it well and puts us unerringly first, and he has an innate business sense and an effusive "CAN-DO" attitude of getting things done. But getting things done when your "staff" are a lot of hostile Washington bureaucrats is a lot harder than getting things done when your staff actually work for you, so, he'll depend a lot for some things on the cooperation of others.

If his first year is any measure, I can't wait to see what he does after 4 or 8------ so much more if he got anywhere near the cooperation and respect of other presidents, but then, what can you expect from an outsider trying to clean up a "swamp."
