Trump made the offer. The reason the Capitol Police Chief was calling the Sgt. at Arms of the House that day and not the President...is that he needed Nancy Pelosi's permission to call out the National Guard! That's obvious. So why did it take over 70 minutes for Pelosi to give that permission? The riot was taking place in front of her eyes. What possible reason would there be for not giving that permission at the very FIRST phone call?
The President makes the offer. Local politicians are the ones that have to accept that offer. You know that's true but you won't admit that it wasn't Trump that screwed up...it was the DC Mayor and Nancy Pelosi. The Capitol Police Chief didn't call the President 30 times desperately trying to get National Guard troops deployed...HE CALLED THE SGT. AT ARMS OF THE HOUSE!!! Why? Because the Sgt at Arms is one of the people in charge of security at the Capitol! And who does he answer to? Obviously it's Nancy Pelosi because the Sgt at Arms tells the Capitol Police Chief repeatedly that he can't do anything until Pelosi tells him he can! So how you make THAT Trump's fault is something you'll have to explain!As has been previously shown to you (over and over )
The Capitol Police are not on the chain of command of the DC National Guard.
