State Department has always been a cesspool. Time to prosecute, fire and if you suspect but not sure transfer them to Zimbabwe.

The State Department has opened an investigation into a campaign of leaks targeting the Trump administration’s top Iran official, including leaks of a non-public inspector general report, according to multiple sources inside the Trump administration and on Capitol Hill who have been briefed on the investigation and the report.

Brian Hook, the special representative for Iran and one of the longest-serving Trump appointees in the administration, has been a focus of an inspector general investigation alleging he engaged in politically motivated staffing decisions involving a career State Department official who worked closely on the Obama administration’s landmark nuclear deal with Iran and other diplomacy with the Islamic Republic.

Details of the IG report centering on Hook were given to the Daily Beast in September, just as Hook was being considered as the White House’s next national security adviser. The timing of this leak has amplified concerns within and outside the State Department that a cadre of anti-Trump voices in the administration is waging an internal campaign to discredit some of Trump’s long-serving appointees.

Aren't we getting close to allowing Don to lock up political opponents in one of our concentration camps yet?

The spy has ties to Obama, Biden, Brennan and is now known to have involvement in promoting The Fake Russian Collusion Narrative as well as has had involvement with Schitt himself.

Stare Department investigating itself....Even money that they claim to have found no wrongdoing.

The link doesn't say whether the leaked information was classified or sensitive, but it probably was at least official gov't information. And as such, it was probably against agency and administration policy to leak it to the media. It may not be illegal, but if there is sufficient evidence to believe that someone leaked something that should have been kept under wraps then that person ought to be fired. Period. I don't give a shit if the person is an "R" or a "D", fire the SOB and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law if possible. Enough of this fucking shit where some asshole passes data to the media that should not have happened.

nah - we still have to clear that it's ok to spy on the other side so you can make up shit you found. FROM THERE we go to locking them up.

and if that candidate is engaged in illegal activity - by all means lock 'em up.

Did you even think about that before you posted it?

Trump needs another term to drain the swamp known as the CIA and FBI.
No, Trump needs another term to stay out of the slammer. Plus, he needs to swindle us some more to make money to pay his legal fees. Not all lawyers work for food & free booze like Jailiani.
