Trump's assessment on Venezuela, “The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented," was a 6-run home run. He gets the extra runs because he caught Lizzy Cheekbones Warren and Bernie Commie Sanders going to bat for Socialism.

Not since the great Ronald Reagan himself, has a US President been so unabashedly crystal clear about the failure of the economic ideas of our Progressive friends. You have to be deluded to still talk about Socialism, in whatever name you want to call it, in the face of the failure of Venezuela. Progressives (Socialists, etc.) took a thriving economy and completely destroyed it in under 2 decades. Not because the USA held them back, but because the system itself is toxic to human life.

Every time socialism fails, the academic left says "well they just didn't do it right." Every time it's tried they thing "We got it this time!" and then if fails.
