Final tallies may show Trump with fewer than 46% of total popular vote. Lincoln was unable to reach 40% coming in at about 39.8% of the total. Three others split up the 1860 vote. Three others split up the 2016 vote, one of whom actually won it.

Trump is losing votes margins as counts come into the final hours. Mainly, Democrats appear to have failed to listen too much, or know what they were hearing, and for eight years.
Candidate Barack Obama--a legend of Punahou School in Hawaii--had promised a "Reagan Trajectory." Secretary Clinton was clearly on board with the concept, (likely witless about it). The Reagan Trajectory cost Bush One, Term One the White House. Bill Clinton was elected by the original "Forgotten vote," left behind.
Moses had written, "Be Fruitful, Multiply, Fill All the Earth: And Subdue It," (Gen 1:28)! Moses would continue, "And if you're Jewish, Screw Everyone" (Deut: 23:19-20)!. Catholics and Protestants alike would take that to heart, applicable to them(?). Israel itself would be sent off to Holocaust. The Moses Atrocity would go unnoticed. FDR would use it, courtesy of Keynes, to war finance the USA. It had started with the famous Keynesian "Public Works:" The people have all bent over in unison, an outcome of the ancient subjugation math of Moses. Moses was Imperialist educated, normal, of Egypt of that time.
Jesus had offered an explanation, (Matt 25:14-30). Probably of Greek origin, the Pythagorean Theorem can even be applied. The decimal point would be 1000 years later. Jesus had offered a remedy, (Matt 20:1-16). The Obama, "Make Work Pay Refundable Income Tax Credit," would follow that kind of arithmetic reasoning. Low income sectors are only a part of the "Free Market" if they have spending money. The Republicans took the credit, and the credit, away in 2011, first order of anti-business. They may now even gut the Medicaid spending, forcing the poor into worthless savings accounts for them. Businesses even in Indiana will not have that money in their stores.
And the Democrats failed to re-instate the Credit and the money. The White House failed to follow that up. Reagan had sent the deficit off to the rich defense contractors instead. Obama sent the deficit off to the public school teachers, and state and local bureaucracies, instead.

Now there is a billionaire, a Slavic woman, and two Jewish kids instead. . .and the head of the Bank of Federal Reserve(?)! No even notices that even Lehman Brothers is gone!
