Donald Trump Surges in New NBC News WSJ Poll - NBC News

(Full internals not yet available)

  • Donald Trump - 19%
  • Scott Walker - 15%
  • Jeb Bush - 14%
  • Ben Carson - 10%
  • Ted Cruz - 9%
  • Mike Huckabee - 6%
  • Rand Paul - 6%
  • Marco Rubio - 5%
  • Chris Christie - 3%
  • Rick Perry - 3%
  • John Kasich - 3%
  • Bobby Jindal - 1%
  • Rick Santorum - 1%
  • Carly Fiorina - *
  • Lindsey Graham - *
  • George Pataki - *
  • Jim Gilmore - *

Margin: Trump +4 over Bush, +5 over Walker.

This margin is considerably smaller than the Gravis (R) poll released yesterday, which showed Trump at +17 over the number 2, but this poll is consistent in that it shows Bush and Walker running neck and neck. This is also the first poll in a while where neursurgeon Ben Carson hits double-digits, which could be an interesting development.

About 4 or 5 more polls are expected by Tuesday, which is the cutoff date for FOX to calculate the averages.

However, just as RCP does, NBC is also taking the same values and making simple averages and shows this at current:

  • Trump - 19.8 percent
  • Walker - 13.2 percent
  • Bush - 13 percent
  • Paul - 6.4 percent
  • Carson - 6.4 percent
  • Rubio - 6.2 percent
  • Huckabee - 5.8 percent
  • Cruz - 5.8 percent
  • Christie - 3.2 percent
  • Kasich - 3.2 percent
Those missing the cut are:

  • Perry - 2.6 percent
  • Santorum - 1.4 percent
  • Jindal - 1.4 percent
  • Fiorina - 0.6 percent
  • Pataki - 0.6 percent
  • Graham- 0.4 percent
  • Gilmore - 0 percent

More details as they come in.

Ok, I did find this internal, which makes this poll very unreliable and is also very uncharacteristic for NBC/WSJ:

"The NBC News/ Wall Street Journal poll was conducted July 26-30, 2015. The margin of error for 252 interviews among Republican Primary Voters is ±6.17%"

That is a polling group that is WAY too small and a MoE that is WAY too large.

Saying what Americans think, BUT Politicians are TOO FUCKING SCARED to say!

PRESIDENT TRUMP, it has a certain ring to it that speaks of HOPE, PROSPERITY, and COMMON SENSE!

President Clinton...what comes into your mind when you hear that?

It is consistent with general trends, i.e. Trump rising and Bush falling.
DONALD LAMBRO Hillary Clinton s falling poll numbers - Us Latest News

The only thing more fun to watch thanHillary Clinton’s falling poll numbers is to see her fans in the news media turning against her as 2015-16 election cycle gets underway.

Sanders Surges Clinton Sags in U.S. Favorability
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' favorable rating among Americans has doubled since Gallup's initial reading in March, rising to 24% from 12% as he has become better known. Hillary Clinton's rating has slipped to 43% from 48% in April. At the same time, Clinton's unfavorable rating increased to 46%, tilting her image negative and producing her worst net favorable score since December 2007.

Uhm, noodle-brain, this thread is not about Hillary.

But her nomination numbers are STILL between 54-60%, where they have been all the time.

The top has not fallen.

The bottom has risen some.

You have a lot to learn.

Her aggregate is still close to +40 over her closest rival.

That is a margin that Republicans can only dream of in their primary polling.

Favorability is not electability. Learn something for a change.

LIE #2 in the same thread...the bottom has risen, and the left wing press is HOLDING HER UP with slanted poll numbers, now go in and LOOK at the demographics of those polls showing her so far ahead! ROTFLMFAO!!!!

Even you have hit a new low!

Nope. And I can prove it.

Hillary nom numbers June and July 2015.png

These are the DEM nomination numbers from all national polls in the last 60 days. These are all polls that also did one-on-one, name-to-name presidential matchups and therefore have a larger polling group in total.

Excluding the weird YouGov poll from 25.06.2015, her number are amost always hovering close to 60, just as I said. It's the bottom number that is rising some.

Or are you too stupid to be able to read simple numbers, n00B?

It's a pretty sure sign of how terrified Righties are of Hillary when the most retarded of them go out of their way to turn a Trump polling thread into a Hillary thread.

Lots of little kids on the Right these days, what?

A woman who is beating Trump by 20 points nationally.

So, what does that say about Trump, eh?

Actually, it's way too early to pick a winner for the Republicans..

But guess what???

Hillary is still losing ground in the general, with 15 months to go...

Hillary Clinton poll Bad general election news - Business Insider

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • Clinton trails former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida (R) 42-41. She led Bush by 10 points in May. Biden, on the other hand, leads Bush by 1 point.
  • Clinton leads Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin (R) 44-43. She led Walker by 8 points in May. Biden is tied with Walker.

Finally, continuing a trend seen in key swing-state polls last week, most voters do not view Clinton as "honest and trustworthy." By a 57-37 margin, poll respondents said Clinton was not honest and trustworthy. And 52% said she didn't care "about their needs or problems."

One Quinnipiac poll out of 89 taken so far.

Oh, and the Marist poll that came out the same day?

Clinton 49 / Bush 43, Clinton +6
Clinton 48 / Walker 41, Clinton +7

Clinton 54 /Trump 38, Clinton +16

So, yeah, good luck with that one.

You only see one poll because you want to cherry-pick them. I see ALL of them.
