Last night I drove 4 hours though the winds that had pushed that system through. Traffic was stalled because an 18 wheeler had overturned and was blocking both lanes.

I also noticed that the NWS tallied that tornado as 4 different tornadoes in a 50 mile track.. That's not counting tornadoes.. It's counting tornado retractions. Stuffing the books --- in every way they can....

Hmmmmmmmmmmm............... No matter how you count them, tornados in November that far north are not exactly the usual weather. Looks like at least three of them were F4's.

Glad I wasn't on that drive, Mr. H. Been on a couple of drives in major thunderstorm systems in Kansas and Colorado. Not fun at all.

Tornado breakout in November is common in the midwest.
In fact, in Indiana the worst ever tornado breakout was in DECEMBER...not during the summer
One with this many is unusual, but not especially rare.
Course...when you watch the lame stream media I noticed they tended to keep harping about "record breaking"..."isn't this unusual.."
etc.
It was unusual...but it has happened many, many, many times before.
