A Republican legislative aide in Maryland has been fired after it was revealed that he ran a fake news website that hyped false stories about voter fraud.

The Washington Post reports that Maryland Del. David E. Vogt III immediately fired legislative aide Cameron Harris after learning that he created an article at the website ChristianTimesNewspaper.com that purportedly revealed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign was committing massive voter fraud in Ohio.

Peaceful protests, the act of personally taking action (marching, holding up signs, chanting, etc) is fine and Constitutionally protected Freedom of Speech.

Firebombing political opponent HQs, intimidating / beating / bloodying opposing candidate's supporters, using chemical bombs against others, blocking roads / bridges / trains - projecting your personal opinion / beliefs onto others, ESPECIALLY through methods like this I have mentioned is no longer 'Protesting' but is a CRIMINAL ACT and / or an act of TERRORISM.

meh, I think they'll disrupt what they can. if they break the law or get violent they should be arrested, but I think they'll likely not get close enough to actually disrupt anything and the incoming administration is better off not giving them what they want, which is the optics of large numbers of screaming people being forcibly removed by cops.

if they get within the security perimeter, all bets are off, but I think it's unlikely that any large number of them will successfully do that in groups large enough to make a difference. 1 or 2 folks on their own, who cares, there will be security disbursed throughout the crowd, both in uniform and plainclothes, to deal with them quickly and effectively.

in short, I think it'll be not much and I wouldn't given them the courtesy of playing into their hands by offing up the optics of massive arrests.....
