There is a special place in hell for Irans current leadership as well as the Castro brothers but I guess they are decent enough people to cut deals with depending on who is doing it.

No one called any Cuban or Iranian leaders, great people, great leaders and loved by their citizens. That would have been disgusting.

Well because they used the standard playbook of doing nothing at all.

I mean Trump dared this guy.........now he's trying to get him to follow through......build him up.....give him something to lose......Trump did it during the campaign...he'd build up one rival to attack another.......it's a strategy, I'm pretty sure Wambier's family knows this, and they may not like it, but they understand preventing nuclear war is worth a few bullshit niceties

Otto Warmbier’s parents are hopeful after the Trump-Kim summit. But they’re still suing North Korea..

I do not feel this is a strategy that will work multiple times. World leaders will realize they cannot trust anything he says. He is playing a game to get what he wants. It may work this time.

True, but it only has to this time.....for Iran, a different approach may be needed.....but I think the very aggressive tone helped by letting Kim know he has a president as crazy as he is.....and now the flattery may work....lets hope so.....

Yes he has killed tons of people......but the millions more he could kill is what we need to worry about...

I hope he does let the political prisoners out maybe to S Korea or China.....

In the long run, the USA's standing in the world community will be based on if their promises and word can be trusted.
Under Trump our reputation is based on intimidation, unpredictability, not trust worthy, willing to do whatever is necessary for our own good. That has been the reputation of countries run by despots like KJU. I feel Trumps short term gains will have worse long term losses.
Time will tell.

It is true that he's had temper tantrums about our military exercises on the border and shit, but he considers them an act of war so I can understand some pissing and dick waving over it.

Then there's Moon, who's the one driving all of this in the reality - he's the one who reciprocated peace and reunification with N Korea. I don't think we have a 'legal' leg to stand on to prevent their peace so we can wave our military dick around on their border. The way I see it they both want peace, and we should facilitate it.
