The policies of imperialism and colonialism by white nations, better known as the west, have been an enormous problem and a cause of consistent destabilization. These policies have been enacted based on western interests, primarily understood as the profit margin. Usually, these interests have involved extracting natural resources in other lands that can create income for businesses in western countries. The maintenance of western interests has come at a high cost for the countries western nations have “interests” in. Millions have died in those countries because of western interest in what they could extract. Western governments havegone so far as to use military force to install governments that would be friendly to western corporate interests. What France has done in Africa is a prime example of how the west created s-hole countries in places like Africa.

"Throughout history, France's interactions with Africa have been marked by a complex and often brutal relationship. With the end of slavery which France benefitted from and utilized to develop its economy to what it is today, France turned to colonization as a means of making wealth without putting in any work. France's colonization efforts were characterized by exploitation, violence, and cultural suppression. One of the most infamous instances was the brutal colonization of Algeria, which lasted for over a century. The Algerian people faced forced labor, land confiscation, and systemic violence as France sought to exploit Algeria's resources and control its economy. In its pursuit of wealth and control, France employed a range of cruel tactics across its African colonies."

Africa was still a craphole and it will remain a craphole. I do agree with your premise, though.
I find it weird how people like you complain about stuff like this and then vote for the people that support doing just that.
Blows my mind how lazy, entitled and flat out stupid the American populace is.

Portugal Many Shocking Atrocities Against Blacks Not Taught In Schools

From the 15th to the 19th century, six million Africans were kidnapped and forcibly transported across the Atlantic by Portuguese vessels and sold into slavery, primarily to Brazil.

But so far Portugal has rarely commented on its past and little is taught about its role in slavery in schools.Rather, the country’s colonial era, which subjugated countries including Angola, Mozambique, Brazil, Cape Verde and East Timor as well as parts of India, is often perceived as a source of pride by most Portuguese. In April, 2022, Portugal’s president, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, would say his country should apologize and take responsibility for its role in the transatlantic slave trade, however, there has not been a formal apology or even reparations to the countries that were subjugated or the people that have to been on the other side of the brutal slave trade.

YOu sullied your argument by bringing Malcolm X into it

How about agreeing with Meloni of Italy about France's continued racist actions in Africa, something specific.
