Of course, the fact that any 'job' with the government adds to the problem and not corrects it is another issue.
That's the most economically illiterate statement I've read on these boards. I see you have no clue how economics work. Though a bunch or goverment jobs may not be philosophically desirable, the fact is that government payrolls actually create private sector jobs. Where do you think government workers eat, shop, buy groceries, cars, homes? At the goverment cafe, the goverment department store, the government grocery store, the goverment auto dealership, and the government real estate agent? I can understand your claiming to be a conservative even a republican; but none of that gives you a license to be stupid.
As for exactly how many jobs the stimulus has created and/or saved, I don't think anyone will EVER be able to give you an exact figure. We don't keep statistics that way. Never have and probably won't for a while.
