Glorious People's Republic of California
... now applies to all states, counties and cities in the 9th Circuit. Thank you Nordyke!

My favorite part:

12] We therefore conclude that the right to keep and bear
arms is “deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition.”
Colonial revolutionaries, the Founders, and a host of com-
mentators and lawmakers living during the first one hundred
years of the Republic all insisted on the fundamental nature
of the right. It has long been regarded as the “true palladium
of liberty.” Colonists relied on it to assert and to win their
independence, and the victorious Union sought to prevent a
recalcitrant South from abridging it less than a century later.
The crucial role this deeply rooted right has played in our
birth and history compels us to recognize that it is indeed fun-
damental, that it is necessary to the Anglo-American concep-
tion of ordered liberty that we have inherited.17 We are
therefore persuaded that the Due Process Clause of the Four-
teenth Amendment incorporates the Second Amendment and
applies it against the states and local governments

No real mystery after Heller. What did they say constituted "arms" if they got into that?

Link works fine.

No thoughts on incorporation?
Good for them, for Gun Shows are not the problem. But I think this is going to create a problem for the right making abortion illegal on a state level. So I really think this is good.

Supreme Court addressed that in 39. White Vs Texas I believe.

Could you explain to us Luissa, where the right to an abortion comes from?

I was quite surprised by this post note by Justice O’Scannlain:

But we do not measure the protection the Constitution affords a right by the values of our own times. If contemporary desuetude sufficed to read rights out of the Constitution, then there would be little benefit to a written statement of them. Some may disagree with the decision of the Founders to enshrine a given right in the Constitution. If so, then the people can amend the document. But such amendments are not for the courts to ordain.

Well for one it states why near the end I think page 30 and no way em I scrolling through it all again to find it. But the jist is since it is protected under Right to Privacy the state can regulate funding but through due process the local and federal government cannot prevent a women from having one

So what you're saying is that the Right to own a Firearm is enumerated, spelled out, in the Bill of Rights. But Abortion is legal because a judge said it's no else's business, as you put it, a "Right to Privacy"?

If I murdered someone would that be covered under "Right to Privacy"?
