In a Republic, actually
‘In a blow to Gov. Ron DeSantis and other Florida conservatives opposed to the measure, the state's Supreme Court on Monday approved a recreational marijuana constitutional amendment for the November 2024 statewide ballot.

The proposal, known as Amendment 3, will legalize the "non-medical personal use of marijuana products and marijuana accessories by an adult" 21 or older if approved by 60% or more of statewide voters.’

Very good.

If the referendum passes it will be a blow to government excess and overreach.

In a blow to small government advocates, a bill that will call for smaller government has been introduced and the small government advocates don't like it.

Bizarre.

Good for FL let the people decide and if it passes taking back some freedom is a good thing

This sort of thing where the people actually get to vote on the issues and not just the candidates pisses off the MAGA folks for some reason.
