The Sad Pumpkins...after Halloween

The tradition around my house is...

1) allow the pumpkin to rot until it shows serious signs of mold..

2) facial collapse is a good sign

3) squishy but not enough that your fingers poke through..

4) carry it to a dumpy area of the property..

5) beat the pumpkin collection with a bat or a slice up with a sword..kids love this

6) eh.. let it rot...:lol:

I have a friend who composts, serious stuff for that family. If the 'kins aren't too far along, she has geese she will feed them to.


2hrs 21 mins, until my birthday is over..... :(

we are fighting about said subject.....since i didnt carve the pumpkins but painted them...they are good to go.....i did notice the neighbor put a carved one on the display but i am good with that....i think they can stay to thanksgiving...husband says he needs the bale of hay they are stacked on
