Fair enough. But just because you refuse to see the extreme political polarization among republicans doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Per the DW Nominate scale, generally regarded as the gold standard of political polarization, the most extreme democrat is Barbara Lee from California with a -0.710. The only democrat above. -0.700. With 7 more democrats above -0.600 for a total of 8.

Above 0.60 (-0.60) Democrats have 8. Republicans have 76.

While I don't hold with everything the Tea party has done, they have not blocked much of anything. BO has gotten about everything he has wanted either by GOP inaction (immigration), the courts and rolling everything under the sun thru Congress from 2009-10.
