Stores fight back by closing or just not stocking as much.

Our local Best Buy does not stock any high end merchandise. Order it in store and it will be shipped to you. Now I find out that Petco is doing the same thing. Dairy Queen's doors are locked. Call and someone will let you in. Door locked behind you. Adjustments get made.

No....just lock the doors and call the cops.
The person that needs to be shot is the person not bringing charges against these people, by design.
