Just as I was about to go to sleep, I found this...

    I am lost for words.

Republican fears of historic Obama landslide unleash civil war for the future of the party - Telegraph

Wouldn't surprise me. The Republican Party has strayed off of its message so far since the Reagan Revolution, I really don't see how it could return. Gold water conservatives, such as myself, find themselves identifying with the Libertarian and Constitution Parties. If it weren't for drug policies, I could vote Libertarian. I firmly believe the social right is killing my party. Can it be revived? We'll see.

    Good find.

The Libertarian party is the future of the Republican party.

Where do you think a large part of the Republican base is going?

Never said I would vote Constitution Party. If you would read my post, I said I would more likely vote Libertarian. I merely mentioned the Constitution Party as a possible destination for those that are disenchanted with the GOP.

    Reading is fundamental.

He may have assumed you'd go with the Constitution Party because Ron Paul has endorsed their candidate, Chuck Baldwin.

Republicans: Stop us before we destroy ourselves.

Did they ever once stop to think that their actions have consequences?

For some reason, this makes me laugh:

Jim Nuzzo, a White House aide to the first President Bush, dismissed Mrs Palin's critics as "cocktail party conservatives" who "give aid and comfort to the enemy".

And if you know anything about the Constitution, the Constitution Party isn't for you.

    The preamble of their platform:

    Constitution Party Platform

And that, more than anything, is the reason that part of the republican party is being marginalized.
