The John Birch society will forever be enshrined in that big loony bin in the sky. For some years they fought the flouride battle. Dental research had discovered that flouride prevented a number of dental problems and so communities began adding flouride to their water supply if it was lacking the right amount. For years the battle raged, the JBS claiming the adding of flouride in the water was a communist plot as the flouride made people sucumb to communism easier and quicker. It was a great battle and one of the kookier ones in the US. In fact, it was far more bitter that the simple little birth certificate thing.

Could be. Kind of like a member posting drivel over on the infrastructure thread by the handle of oldstyle. His favorite source, or perhaps his only source, is an economist who is a libertarian and has a close relation to CATO. He is trying now to refute what I am saying about the CBO and infrastructure spending as stimulus, and always makes far right libertarian like statements with absolutely no proof of anything. But he does tend to bring with him the normal cons who try to help him out. Seems that a number are simply paid by some right wing organization, maybe heritage or CATO or whatever.

The private sector is 100% responsible for inovations so the more libturds shrink the private sector with taxes and regulations the more they harm economic growth and jobs.

The more they tax venture capital, for example, the fewer new ventures like Apple Google Intel HP and Dell venture capitalists can create.

2) Obama is so desperate to callously spend our money, money we won't give him, and money he won't dare ask for in new taxes, he has virtually ordered the Fed to print all the money he needs. In fact, 70% of his recent record breaking very liberal deficits have been paid for with money that his obedient Treasury department has printed!!

Even Greece, the very best example of modern socialist profligacy, has a strict debt ceiling and absolutely no ability to print money in secret as Obama does.
