That $15 minimum wage is a job killer. While the "super rich" will amply handle the resulting inflationary costs for products and services that remain, for the middle class it'll be a hardship not much different than when gas went over $4 a gallon and consumer prices soared.

Large socialist economies like the USSR and China both abandoned the "Worker's Paradise" dream because eventually it dies an ugly and painful death. There is an apt term for the transition (in a democracy) from a market economy to socialism:
