/---/ Which explains why Nancy Pants won't release her returns: Most members of Congress keep their tax returns secret/---/ If you're a professional politician you structure your tax returns to pass public scrutiny. Trump was a private businessman until late in life. His taxes are structured differently. With his returns being about 800 pages long, couldn't his enemies have a field day making all kinds of accusations putting Trump on the defense 24/7? That is your goal isn't it?
Now before your screech RUSH RUSH RUSH - read what he has to say and refute it if you can:
The Tradition of Presidential Candidates Releasing Their Tax Returns Is a Scam
And there's this: Most members of Congress keep their tax returns secret
And why does he lie there? Seems like that would be a red flag that if he needs to lie to make his point, it probably isn't helping that point. But when a lie is the best defense you have, I guess you have to pull it out.
Bush started up a multimillion dollar energy company and had a multimillion dollar investment as a managing general partner of a baseball team. Hillary just released hers last election with something like 240 million in earnings in the last 10 years. Gore, Ted Kennedy, Kerry, all worth hundreds of millions or more when they ran.
So we are basing this on a "structure" that isn't even defined. And because it looks "strange". And then of course goes on a conspiracy theory rant, and ignores candidates in the past with hundreds of millions in worth showing their taxes. That's your defense? Come on man, that's the most mushy mouth response I've ever seen.
So no, he didn't want America to see his tax returns. Makes sense after what we heard under oath about them the other day. I wouldn't want it getting out that I'd been screwing over America in my private life as well if I was.
That would be almost as bad as rewarding illegal immigrants who make it across the border with careers when in public you are saying that's a crisis... that you are supporting.
Huh? No we are talking about Presidents here. Congressmen, mechanics, flight attendants, etc... most other people don't release their taxes.
What you are trying to do is deflect on the topic of Presidents releasing their taxes.
