I've stated before, all impeachment inquiries should come from non partisan independent councils, whose members are approved by people from both the repub and dem sides of the aisle.

The dems already have a stated goal of impeaching and removing trump. This was stated and known from day 1 of the trump presidency.

It should show a conflict of interest, and it should be questionable that those who have a vested interest in removing a president should not be the ones investigating him.
