The "lynching" of John Boehner....

the GOP is far more likely to select a far, far more extreme Speaker than they just had, one who may be totally inclined to force the President's hand and cause a shut down, but this time, maybe in January or February, right smack in the middle of the primary process.

If that happens (the shutdown early next year) please don't forget to send flowers and condolences to the GOP "leadership."

Stat, the far right is trying to destroy the GOP and America.

If they can't have it their way, they intend to destroy us all.

This is the final rumble of the losers from sixties and seventies: this is why you hear so much about "commies" and "feminists" and "socialists" and "Negros" and "God-haters" and so forth and so on.

They will lose massively with this election cycle, no matter who wins. They are done with and they will die off in the next decade. Good fucking riddance.

Even the Donald has said in the last week that he will cover every American with good health care and access to it regardless of the cost.

They are on a banzai charge, and we know where that leads.

stupidest comments of the day > "The fact that 95,000,000 people have dropped out of the work force - 50,000,000 of these women" revealing the poster of it has not a clue about what it means. Sixty million are retirees, twenty million are disabled. Good god, the idiocy.
You can see that and similar stupid comments from the right everyday.

A principle of the martial arts is to learn to let your opponent tire himself out (while at the same time, you tire less) and then crush himself under his own weight...

^^^^that.

Wow! I never thought I'd see the day when the left would claim a republican was lynched when he resigned from office. What do lefties think happened to Nixon?

......and paraphrasing Napoleon......"never interrupt your enemy while he is busy destroying himself."

C'est vrai, Monseur, c'est vrai...

McConnell has learned his lesson: 'shutdowns' don't work, and only backfire on republicans.

McConnell is also desperate to remain Majority Leader, which doesn't seem likely come 2017. He knows a 'shutdown,' or similar stupidity by republicans, before the GE will guarantee democrats taking control of the Senate again.

My personal opinion, knowing Jack and also admiring his dad, is that no such promise was made. I am also aware I am in a solid minority on that point.

McConnell's tenuous lead (54-46) is faced with the prospect of the GOP having to defend TWENTY-FOUR seats next year....The odds are not too good for good old Mitch.

Love the OP talking about what? "Ultra right wingers." :lmao:

No. Boehner was bought and paid for. The fact that the GOP had a Democrat leading them for so long (let alone at all) is what makes the party a disgrace.

Exactly.

Particularly in the context of a GE with a large, diverse voter turnout.

Odds are very good to excellent that states like WI, PA, NH, NV, CO and a few others will revert the Senate to Dems. hands.....and my own personal opinion is that I hope that Reid will NOT be the majority leader.

Gatsby, you guys are going to get the shit beat out of you by Dems and good Republicans. Your day is over.
