The Low-Information Voter: All They Know Is That They're Angry & Its All Obamas Fault

These people are panicked by economic and environmental ruination (there has been leaks/spills in Alaska of late), they have been jerked all over hell and back by the finest propaganda machine man ever created, they are preoccupied trying to stay afloat and cannot study on every issue like a PhD candidate........

Rachel Maddow has an abrasive style (at least when I watched her) and a calm conversation with any of these people about what concerns them most could have been had, Marc. Maddow made time and place choices that maximized their ignorance and fear.

Yanno, one criticism of the left is that we look down on "regular people". Ain't that more or less what you are doing?
No, this is not what I'm doing. A "regular person" doesn't just get livid with NOTHING factual or reasonable backing it up. If this is what a "regular person" in America is today. We got some MAJOR problems.

These people are drunk on FOXNews, and FOXNews has PURPOSELY fed them a steady diet of lies and propoganda. These people are people who already leaned a certain way, and what FNN has done is spread the sickness from those with absolutely no sense to those with a little bit of sense to those with some sense...all on the right.

I don't appreciate you suggesting that I outright have something against "regular people," the facts just doesn't bear that out.

Edit:
Oh, and to suggest that Rachel Maddow's interview style is somehow..."abrasive" I think that's near laughable. I'd like to know what and how you define abrasive, also, what examples do you have on her being such as well. You want to know whats abrasive, or who...Bill O'Reilly...that's abrasive if I ever seen it.

Provide a list of the alleged lies and propaganda that Fox News spreads.

Wait a minute. He has to go to the "non-partisan" Media Matters and look that one up! ;)

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Soggy, there is no way in hell a sane or honest person could defend a person being so strong and firm on an issue or issues that they have absolutely NO facts to back it up on.

Rachel asked them directly..."What SPECIFICALLY did he do to prevent or attack 2nd amendment rights." They BOTH ended up responding with "I don't have the facts at the moment."

But they were BOTH absolutely SURE that he was anti 2nd amendments.

Dude...that's the DEFINITION of ignorance, willful ignorance at that.

Whether or not they could give specifics, they answered correctly. Bozobama has demonstrated that he does not favor 2nd amendment rights. He voted for a bill that would ban nearly every hunting rifle, shotgun and target rifle owned by Illinois citizens. That same bill would authorize the state police to raid homes of gun owners to forcibly confiscate banned guns. Obama supported a bill that would shut down law-abiding firearm manufacturers including Springfield Armory, Armalite, Rock River Arms and Les Baer. Obama also voted for a bill that would prohibit law-abiding citizens from purchasing more than one gun per month. While a state senator, Obama voted 4 times against legislation that would allow a homeowner to use a firearm in defense of home and family (Illinois Senate, S.B. 2165, vote 20, 3/25/04).

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports this regarding Obama’s view on the DC gun ban-

Obama personally voiced support for the D.C. ban at other times. In February, Leon Harris, a news anchor for the ABC affiliate in Washington, said to Obama: “One other issue that’s of great importance here in the district as well is gun control … but you support the D.C. handgun ban.” Obama’s simple response: “Right.” When Harris added “and you’ve said that it’s constitutional,” Obama again said “right,” and he is clearly seen on tape nodding his head in agreement.

How would you define someone that willfully ignores an outright lie quoted in his own OP?

It's been during the last two years the country has seen the results of Republican leadership. But because Obama is in office the base is angry at him. He has managed to blunt Republican excess, but not enough.

Then there is the race thing. Obama's name could be "Dwight Ronald Washington Lincoln" and 90% of the Republican Party still would hate his guts.

You know Reid, Pelosi and Obama are Democrats right?

No shit we'd still hate his guts, because no matter what his name is it doesn't change all the shit he and his Dem congress have done.

Also, continue ignoring the fact that Dems controlled congress during Bush's last two years. Its quite comical.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to theHawk again.

Reid, Pelosi and Obama are all Republicans...in the Rdean Zone

I screwed up really badly in one of my first posts here where I listed "Three reason Dems suck" or something like that and I got carried away and edited the post so there were 4 things but the Title said 3 things.

It was embarrassing, funny, but embarrassing.

That was one post.

Rdeans seems to make a habit out of letting his hatred embarrass him in every post.

LoLing @ Obama being arrogant and a divider, meanwhile Bush shouting from the rooftops "I AM THE DECIDER!!" that's perfectly fine and uniting.

The democrats have controlled the purse strings and both houses since 2007 and have amassed 5 trillion dollars in new debt.

Speaker Pelosi said "After years of historic deficits, this 110th Congress will commit itself to a higher standard: Pay as you go, no new deficit spending,” and this, “Our new America will provide unlimited opportunity for future generations, not burden them with mountains of debt." .

Liberals are incapable of being honest and Rdumb is staying true to his character.

It's more Pelosi & Reid's fault than it is Obama's in my opinion. There is a lot of anger out there. "Low-Information Voter" is in the eye of the beholder though.
