Recently, while campaigning for the upcoming midterm elections, President Obama engaged in classic liberal race-baiting by demagogically asserting that Republicans are counting on blacks not turning up to the polls. However, despite Obama's agenda in making that assertion, unfortunately, the underlying premise of his comment is accurate: the majority of blacks unthinkingly vote for Democrats in droves.

It is my contention that black people who diligently vote for Democrats are intellectual slaves to the liberal agenda, inasmuch as they, for the most part, are ignorant of the history of the Democratic Party and vote for policies that harm their communities. It is only a black intellectual slave who can observe the impact of liberal policies on the black community without having a scintilla of unease about pulling the lever for Democrats -- election after election.

I guess he doesn't realizt that black people are responsible for a lot of the liberal agenda. And I also guess that he thinks the democratic party of 2010 is the same democratic party of 1920. So, it stands to reason that he believes the GOP of 2010 is the same as Lincoln's GOP. And he thinks black people are ignorant of political history? I've still yet to find one person who can explain to me why they think it's logical for black people to support the GOP when the GOP is where the vast majority of racist dems went when LBJ pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Racist dems were the 'enemy' when they were in the democratic party and they remained the enemy when they became republicans. If you dont' believe me, look at all of the 'hate legislation' based on race and/or sex introduced, passed, and not passed since 1964.......it all came from the GOP.

We've already gone through the experience of comandeering a racist party and making it more humane (Dems), why people think we would want to take on that project again and do it with the GOP is beyond me. Too many people died getting the Dems to be more humane.
