I'm told by conservatives that the democratic party is made up of minorities (blacks!)

I'm sure that in 1960 that was not the case. So they have progressed to the point that they are now more politically involved and have their own party!


We just had a black president.

and even conservatives would vote for a blackkk republican.

interracial relationships are common and legal and nobody lynches anyone anymore over it.

THAT is progress! Even conservatives have stopped lynching uppity blacks for dating whites.

Before the 1960s blacks in sports were rare

Before 1950 blacks in sports were NOT ALLOWED!

Now blacks dominate sports over the physically inferior whites

music, movies, entertainment: blacks are in prominent and powerful positions and top the charts with their music and movie roles. THAT wasn't true 50 years ago.

in 1950 I'm sure NO WHITE CHILDREN in the USA would have ever considered any black a "hero".....Today white children have become great fans of black athletes, musicians, singers, politicians.....

so there has been some progress

And you can thank Republicans for that. Most of that was opposed by the Democrats. A HUGE reason for the progress of the he blacks were due to us conservatives.

However the black community as a whole is still in a sorry state specifically due to Democratic failures.
