Sharing the wealth is a good thing and to a certain extent the Pope was right if a bit naive and a trifle hypocritical considering the vast wealth of the Vatican. Voluntarily sharing the wealth is the core of charity contributions but being forced by an oppressive government to "share the wealth" to fund selected agendas is Fascism.
