I would eliminate most of them but if an employer has to provide insurance that's a cost of doing business, like rent. Why wouldn't they be able to deduct money they can't keep?

Tax expenditures are OPM, and most definitely not exclusive to liberals.

A health insurance subsidy from an employer is income that is not taxed. That income exemption benefits the employee, not the employer. It is by far the largest tax expenditure (OPM) there is.

Employer sponsored health insurance should go away for many reasons, and that is just one of them.
