About 44 years ago, our embassy in Iran was stormed and 52 Americans were taken hostage, becoming known as the Iran Hostage Crisis. ABC's show Nightline was born with Ted Koppel and the hostage crisis was plastered all over the news day after day after day, counting up the number of days each day that it had been since they had been taken hostage, all the way up to 444.

With the hostages taken by Hamas this time, yes, the news devotes a few minutes to the story every day but they do not obsess over it like they did 44 years ago. No daily special shows over it and no Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc. I can't help but think with Trump and Biden being the most likely nominees for 2024, the lefty and Biden controlled news media are playing it down this time compared to 44 years ago. Can't do anything to make Biden look bad. Minimalize it as much as possible.

The "Media" (IE Democrats) are the mouthpiece for HUMMUS, just as they are for BLM and Antifa.

A distinction without a difference.
