The Embrace of Civil War: LABOR LEADER CALLS FOR WAR ON REPUBLICANS

If the GOP and Tea Party act like terrorists, then yes, calling them terrorists is appropriate. It's far more appropriate than comparing the Democrats to the Third Reich!

How have the GOP and TEA party supporters "acted like terrorists"?

Terrorism is not simply about using violence to get what you want, as many in this thread incorrectly believe. It can be the use of fear or intimidation as well, and that's what the GOP did in December and the TPers did recently.

In December, the GOP said they would pass nothing, nothing at all, until they got their extension of tax rates for the upper incomes. This meant no unemployment money and possible employee lay offs. How do you think those employees and unemployed felt? They felt terrified! Their means for supporting their families was under attack. Obama and the Democrats were quoted multiple times saying they extended the rates for upper incomes because they couldn't allow that much damage to be done to the middle and lower classes and the unemployed. That's terrorism.

Recently, the Tea Party said they would not vote in favour to raise the debt ceiling without severe cuts to spending. Not raising the ceiling would have resulted in default which would have made the recent financial crisis look like picnic. The TP threatened ruining the economy and the country in order to get what they wanted. That's terrorism.

Again, Biden was right. "Google" is just trying to be overly dramatic.

So, when Senator Obama and the Democrat party voted against raising the debt ceiling in 2006 they were acting like terrorist :eusa_eh:

The SEIU has already showed up and committed acts of violence against Tea Party members. Could you imagine the type vitriol and hate emanate from TP activists and not receive national attention?

This is the kind of stuff the left has accused the Tea Party of! The hypocrisy is on display for everyone to see.

Poor babies.
We'll just put you down in the "Refuses to condemn liberals for anything" column.

Well, if it makes you feel better, you just go right ahead and do that.

You won't get a rational answer.

Look, if you want to choose to be ignorant of the world around you, that's fine. You're allowed to be. But that doesn't mean I need to stay here and try to educate you.

Good luck with that.

I don't do things to "feel better". I'm not motivated by emotion.

It's quite clear that you will excuse liberals anything. If you don't like it being pointed out, stop excusing liberals everything.

You can try to pretend to be superior (hint: you're failing), but you've been caught in a conundrum: You must condemn Senator Obama and his fellow Democrats for the same thing you condemn the TEA Party for, or else expose your hypocrisy.

I see you've chosen to embrace your hypocrisy. I can't say I'm the least bit surprised.

So being politically responsible to their core beliefs and their constituency equates to terrorism now? Then in an equally political move, when democrats in Wisconsin left the state to hide out in an undisclosed place and by doing so held the states budget hostage, were they being "terrorists"?

Your equating political wrangling with terrorism is irresponsible flame baiting rhetoric and it is appalling!

The TEA party never made any such threat! That's a fabricated lie out of whole cloth. The TEA Party is a loosely organized group of citizens that believe in smaller government, who, like every other group that hold to specific views, who regularly hold their elected officials proverbial feet to the fire- did just that and nothing more!

Ever seen hate speech laws used against gay advocates preaching hate towards straights? Has someone arrested "Calypso Louis" Fahrrakan?

Who is it that uses the fear of prosecution to shut down honest opinions and dissenting political views like talk radio and the internet?

Huh.... your stupidity laced silence tells all. Oh wait... some is leaking out... listen for it to gibber!
Shall we throw in the wrong Reverend Wright into the mix? Same crap different thug spewing.

Mere months after the Vice President of the United States equated his political enemies to the murders responsible for 9/11, labor leader Jimmy Hoffa has upped the rhetoric and hate by declaring "The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party...President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong". If Palin's targets on contested congressional races was a call to violence what the hell do you call these statements?

The riots and civil unrest we witnessed in Europe was a prelude to what is coming in America.
Yeah......quite the War.

"President Barack Obama said spending to rebuild the nation's infrastructure is a key component of his plan to reignite the economy and boost hiring.

In a speech marking the U.S. Labor Day holiday, Obama told a Metro Detroit Central Labor Council rally today that the jobs agenda he'll unveil in a speech to Congress on Sept. 8 will include proposals that previously have had support from both parties. He challenged Republicans to "put country before party" by backing quick action.

"We've got roads and bridges across this country that need rebuilding," Obama said. "We've got more than 1 million unemployed construction workers ready to get dirty right now. There is work to be done and there are workers ready to do it. Labor's on board, business is on board. We just need Congress to get on board."

Not to worry, Republicans.

Much like fighting the Wars, you start.....no one will expect any (actual) labor, from you, rebuilding this Country's infrastructure.

:eusa_hand:

We've still got people who KNOW how to work!!!

(You can get-back to your soap-operas, now....)

Is that everything he said?

Taking sentences out of context...the hallmark of the intellectual dishonest.

Intellectual dishonesty? Are you F-ing serious. There is nothing out of context here. In what context does "The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war...Let's take these son of bitches out" make it okay.
Consider.....
