The Definitive Political Orientation Test

You're on the right and libertarian quadrant of the political spectrum! You prize individualism and personal liberty above all else. You believe in private property and the free market. You tend to be patriotic but you're sceptical of the state and you find little to no value in government institutions. You believe that success depends on the individual's ability to pull themselves up by their own boot straps and take advantage of the opportunities they have. You see taxes as a form of oppression and you believe that the greatest threat to freedom is big government. You believe in a society of independent and hard-working individuals who take care of themselves. You want big brother out of your bedroom, out of your bank account, and off your property!

Pretty damned close.

A little surprised.
Anarchist huh ?!

Don't you see that you would never get any sleep for yourself under anarchy ?!

Somebody who hated you could first shoot your dog and then shoot you too while you slept.

There would be no rule of law.

Like I said, the whole damn chart is screwy to me. I'm NOT an anarchist by any stretch of the imagination. I'm not even a Libertarian ideologue, I just have libertarian leanings. I've never voted for a Libertarian candidate.

Some of the questions were tricky and I could've answered them differently but I held them to a quite literal standard and that's probably how I wound up where I did.

I would describe myself as a Constitutionalist libertarian-conservative. I believe in strong free market capitalism and small limited government. I believe in original intent. I believe in individual liberty and private property rights. I am Pro-2nd Amendment and Pro-Life.
The Libertarians are essentially anarchists.

So the chart was right.

Wait.... this graph, has something wrong. Or at least has a different definition of "progressive". Now could it be even remotely close to Capitalism and Conservationism?

Progressivism is like the polar opposite. I haven't met a self-described progressive, that ever said they were similar to Conservative Capitalism.
"Progressivism" simply means you want to head in a certain direction.

It does not have reference to which direction.

Currently it is taken to mean in the direction of European socialism.

I'm fine with that as long as they don't try to peel my gun from my cold dead hands.

Then why is it, every 'progressive' I've met, all says the same 'direction' as all the others, and it's always socialist?
On the extreme far right you have anarchism.

And on the extreme far left you have communism.

Civilization has already experienced the almost extreme far right with kings everywhere.

Since then through a long process of democratization we (civilization) are "progressing" towards socialism -- the little brother of Communism.

Jesus was a Communist. So were all of his 12 apostles.

No, Jesus was not a Communist, nor were the 12 apostles.

If you think a King is a right-wing ideology, then you don't know what the ideological spectrum is.

Wow !!!

We seem to have a couple of Anarchists here, not just one.
Surprise to me!

We've all done these, but for me it has been quite a while. I thought maybe it would be fun to do..

For me...

You're on the right and collective quadrant of the political compass! You believe in a strong military, an efficient government to intervene when necessary, low taxes and a free market economy. You value tradition, hardwork, and you tend to respect religious authority. You're patriotic and skeptical of people looking for a hand out. You believe in government institutions and you have a strong sense of belonging to those with the same nationality as you. You believe in individual freedoms, but you also take into account tradition and social order. Anarchy and communism are your worst nightmares! Ronald Reagan is most likely one of your personal heroes! What do you think? Is this accurate?

Some of this is NOT accurate for me.

Try it and see how close it comes to you..

The Definitive Political Orientation Test

OMG :omg: :scared1:

So...need to figure out what Left-Libertarianism and Anarcho-Socialism is...never heard of Syndicalism...and Anarcho-Communism sounds like an oxymoron...

Yeah this test was far more interesting when I just wanted to pick up a hot future wife with similar political views, then when I actually looked at things the graph says.
