Our evidence is a failure by the Attorney General to provide documents requested so that we may learn who approved of the operation. Our probable cause is that AG holder has backtracked repeatedly when faced with evidence that contradicts his sworn statement, and finally, our evidence is that the President of the United States now appears complicit in a cover-up.
If there is no conspiracy to hide the truth, why not comply with the subpoena?

There is no evidence of any of that.

Not on single shred of evidence.

There was one e-mail indicating that the ATF thought that the information they were gathering about how guns were getting to Mexican cartels would be useful for convincing people that stricter gun enforcement was needed, and that was it.

This does not indicate, in any way, that this was the reason for the operation.

Trying to tie this in as a motivation for some sort of conspiracy is desperate reaching, at best, and there is absolutely no evidence to back it up.

The Perry family has every reason to be upset. Perhaps they should crusade for tougher regulation on gun sales in Arizona.

Whether ATF agents had been trying to catch the gun-runners or not, those guns still would have been sold and crossed the border, just like tens of thousands of weapons like them have in the past.
