The people she hates are Americans, especially Southerners. The reason why she especially hates Southerners is that they are much less likely to be on board with her globalist worldview. While candidate for governor of South Carolina she promised not to remove Confederate flags from the state house. As governor she removed the flags, thus alienating Southerners. Now she's pandering to them by parroting a position on the Civil War that they hold but which she doesn't even understand.
