I find it hard to believe that in a space as vast as the universe (infinite some would say) that sentient life is a one off.

I use the words intelligent lightly because we are far from it. That's a whole other topic though. I agree with the article, and I do believe we have been and are being visited. No doubt in my mind...

I think it is ignorant to disregard the notion of aliens
Our Universe is HUGE and constantly expanding
I dont think life could just be on "habitable" planets as well
Just because we are carbon-based, does not mean everything in the Universe has to be
I doubt I will ever see aliens, but if the Human race continues, someone will know for sure
I am not a sci-fi junkie, I just have an open mind
