Texas is getting Electricity from Mexico.

Is this something we should be concerned about?

You should be concerned about Stuxnet like attack on USA, which the USA set precedent for. It was the first time cyber sabotage has substituted physical acts of war. USA has many potential targets, including its power-generation facilities.
But hell, as long as it is just the Iranians it's no big deal?

What does an Iranian computer virus have to do with Mexico burning Texas shale gas and selling the electricity to Texas?

we import from mexico 1,082,093,
export to mexico 647,720

import from canada:51,108,502
export to canada:17,490,264
electric power annual - electric power industry - u.s. Electricity imports from and electricity exports to canada and mexico

why?

We get LOTS of electricity from Canada, up here in the northeast. Why? Because the U.S. simply does not have the capability to produce enough electricity for 300 million people. Years and years of enviro-nazi "work" has rendered the U.S. power grid to be inadequate, antiquated, vulnerable to cyber-attacks, and vulnerable to catastrophic distribution problems.

Imagine how many more low-sulfur coal-fired power plants and CLEAN nuclear power plants the USA could have built in the past 30 years or so if people like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton hadn't put the kabosh on them.

The USA could have been COMPLETELY energy-independent many years ago, if not for the enviro-nuts and the politicians.

The Dos Equis beer we get from Mexico is pretty good. Canadian beer tastes like rubber bands. On his last taxpayer funded vacation to Brazil Obama said "we want to be Brazil Oil's best customer". Meanwhile he is trashing American companies. What does that tell you about Barry and the democrats agenda to keep America dependent on foreign energy sources?
