Another was a female porn star who claimed to have the first VR porn site.

One guy was running a cricket farm and was trying to sell the idea of abandoning meat for crickets as food. All because cows “waste” too much water and emit too much methane gas. There was a rewrite of the DSM V that was an attempt to normalize pedophilia as a personality disorder which would have been the first step towards making it a "Protected Class". There was significant outrage and the rewrite was removed. So no, you are wrong. There is indeed a concerted effort to first normalize, and then legalize, pedophilia.

They want to label it a personality disorder so it can be brought into a light that sees it as something that is possibly treatable. They want to try to treat pedophiles so they don't go off and rape children. I'm sure some of them do, but I have no idea how common it is. I imagine a lot of them are probably afraid of exposing themselves even to mental health professionals. We don't really know how to treat it yet. Maybe we can't, but I don't see how bad can come from trying to understand it better. That's the main thing I'm interested in. If we can understand more about it it might be possible to minimize or someday even eradicate it. You never know; knowledge is power.

I have no issue with this. I'd actually not take issue with killing everybody with a lifetime prison sentence. Taking care of them is a huge waste of resources and they've proven themselves pretty useless as humans.
